Currently that would mean robbing the globe of the only 4 Monogod LL’s, and stealing away campaign variety for everyone else who might interact with them. If RoC existed in IE, you would want LL’s to fill it. So why haven’t they done it? I imagine it’s a few reasons, likely IE was already a huge project, and putting in the Realms may’ve extended out its release in further. Oddly enough, even though Abbath had arguably become the public face of the band, particularly during the many years when Demonaz was physically unfit to perform with the band, his. The way the map mysteriously leaves a big fat obvious gap for them to slot right in means they’ve left that door open. The debuffs after leaving the realms aren't a bad idea, but the whole forcing you to stay in your settlements is. Maybe add some risk/reward, e.g., each layer you go down you have a chance to get ambushed or more armies pour out of your portal or something, considering you're not going to be competing with other factions as much.
