Everyone's your friend when you ride a Chopper and this bike is particularly lovely to ride, its a real head turner especially in the very desirable apple looks great! Grab a bargain while you can, the starting auction price is only 0.99p. Overall this is a lovely example of an early Mark One Chopper with the original round Sissy Bar, adjustable wide handle bars, distinctive gear change console, pressed steel spoke protector & the long seat. Nothing seized, no breaks or re welds to the the frame & a smooth gear change.

The bike has been serviced by a Professional Bike Technician with everything working as it should, new bearings all round. The brake callipers have the correct NOS (New Old Stock) fibre washers which i imported from the USA for this project. The end result being an absolutely orgasmic and durable finish - one of the best paint jobs I've seen! The Chrome re-work was done in Birmingham by 'probably the best Chrome Platers in the UK' as they say on their T shirts.Fantastic attention to detail here: all the original nuts, bolts and washers have been re-chromed. The process involves, firstly sand blasting with fine grit, etch priming, then wet spraying and finally finishing with a clear coat over the decals. The bike has been professionally re-sprayed by Rob Elkington in apple green. However in saying they are in original condition they are in fact in decent order, just a bit of light pitting to the chrome on the front wheel rim and some break rub wear to the rear wheel rim. The parts that have been left in the original condition are: wheel rims, seat post, chain ring and cranks please zoom in to the images. The bike has been about 80% restored to a very high standard resulting in a head turning show bike look.
The bike was produced in April 1971, the hub stamp mark (71 4) can be seen in the images above.
